Mosque
It stands on the bank of the Sille Stream, right at the head of the bridge linking the two sides. Its name comes from its position: çay, the mosque by the stream. It is one of the buildings at the centre of everyday life in Sille — bazaar, bridge and mosque are gathered within the same few metres. A modest but characteristic example of the valley's combined stone and timber workmanship.
